The Project
Nestled in the tranquil village of Newbliss, McGinn’s Pub stands as a testament to the enduring spirit of rural Irish hospitality. Established in 1912 by Hugh McGinn, the pub has been a cornerstone of the community, offering a warm and welcoming space for locals and visitors alike. The interior exudes a timeless charm, with its rustic wood paneling, vintage furnishings, and a cozy atmosphere that invites patrons to relax and unwind.
In recent years, the pub has undergone thoughtful renovations to preserve its traditional character while introducing modern comforts. The addition of a piano and other instruments in ‘The Kitchen’ area, along with the restoration of the adjoining barn into a function space, enhances the pub’s versatility and appeal. Despite these updates, McGinn’s Pub retains its authentic charm, offering a genuine Irish pub experience that continues to delight guests and uphold its rich heritage.
